If you have spent time at Evergreen Community, you likely know Fred, the African Parrot who has called Evergreen home for more than 13 years. Now 20 years old, Fred has been a familiar and much-loved presence in the Mt. Chalet neighborhood.
As Evergreen residents prepare to move to the new campus, Fred will be making the move as well. African parrots can live up to 60 years, and we want to ensure he has a spacious, comfortable home with plenty of room to stretch, climb, and thrive in his new surroundings.
We are raising $1,200 to purchase a larger birdcage with built-in storage for his supplies and to cover shipping costs. This upgrade will provide Fred with additional space while keeping everything he needs organized and close at hand.
