Neighborhoods
Evergreen Community is designed around a neighborhood model that creates a comfortable, home-like environment while fostering meaningful relationships between residents, families, and team members. Our campus includes two Skilled Nursing neighborhoods, one Assisted Living neighborhood, and one Memory Care Assisted Living neighborhood, each designed to provide personalized support in a welcoming setting.
All residents enjoy private rooms and access to inviting shared spaces throughout their neighborhood. Each neighborhood features a dining room, living room, den, and gathering areas where residents can enjoy meals, activities, conversations, or simply relax with friends and family. Smaller activities and social opportunities take place within the neighborhoods, allowing residents to choose how they spend their day and connect with others who share similar interests.
For larger events and community-wide gatherings, residents from all neighborhoods come together in our chapel, a flexible gathering space used for celebrations, entertainment, educational programs, worship services, and special events.
The neighborhood model supports resident choice, encourages social connections, and creates a sense of belonging while ensuring each person receives the individualized care and attention they deserve.
The neighborhood concept takes a traditional nursing home setting and designs living and dining spaces to create a more intimate feel. The concept at Evergreen Community provides semi-private rooms for individuals and offers smaller, more personal neighborhoods staffed with self-directed teams of highly-trained caregivers. This concept is designed around conveniences for the individuals, and caregivers are empowered to listen and respond to each individuals needs.
The neighborhood concept’s interior design is customized with a warm and inviting color palette, and appealing fixtures and furnishings. Resembling a typical home, individuals will benefit from a focus on the neighborhood’s dining room and family area (complete with fireplace and television), which serves as the central gathering spot for meals and activities. Different activities are conducted simultaneously in each of the neighborhoods, allowing individuals to choose activities they enjoy most. Larger group activities, involving all neighborhoods, take place in the Community Room.
This concept promotes a stronger social bond within the community, ensuring a higher level of care and social well-being for all community members. The goal is to maximize each individual’s full potential with as much personal independence when possible.
